Henry George Martin departed this life on January 19, 2021 while at the Southern Oaks Care Center in Pawnee , OK. Henry Martin was born at home in Pawnee, OK to Andrew F. Martin and Bessie F. Feaster Martin on December 19, 1923.

Henry attended school until eighth grade at Liberty School, which was the same school his parents attended when they were children. Henry attended high school at Pawnee, graduating with the class of 1942. After graduation, he farmed with his parents, roughnecked in the oil patch and drilled water wells. He served in the army from November 13, 1945 and was discharged January 15, 1947.

Henry married Doris Myers on August 31, 1952. They celebrated 63 years of marriage before her passing in 2015.

Henry is survived by four children and their spouses: Gene (Treva) Martin of Pawnee, OK, Mary Ann (Jerry) Boyer of Newkirk, OK, Larry (Sheila) Martin of Pawnee, OK and Shirley (Randy) Deason of Chouteau, OK, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Martin.
