Alfred Paul Frejo son of Sam Ascension Frejo and Leota Littleeagle Frejo has passed away at the age of 77 in Oklahoma City Saturday July 6, 2019. He was born March 16, 1942 in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Hes a member of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma and of Mexican descent. Al was a proud graduate of Capital Hill High School and attended Chilocco Indian School Vo-Tech Program. He studied at Okmulgee Tech and worked for IHS in Oklahoma as a Facilities Engineer Tech where he retired. He was a U.S. Veteren, certified mediator, Grief and coping skills facilitator (Calm Waters), T’ai Chi Master, DJ, Softball and Basketball Coach, aka Coach Frejo.
He is survived by his 5 children Brian Frejo, Connie Frejo, Happy Frejo, Lucky Frejo, Marcus Frejo and 12 grandchildren. Al touched many lives with his Positive, Encouraging, Compassionate, Strength and Kind Hearted Spirit. Family, Friends and Acquaintances are invited to the Wake Service Monday, July 8th at 7:00pm at Glorieta Baptist Church located at 7308 S. Western Ave Okc, OK 73139. Funeral to be held Tuesday July 9th in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Services start at 10:00am at Pawnee Nation Roundhouse, located at 800 Agency Rd.
