What can we say about our Eli? Gentle Giant, Teddy bear, big foot “the wall”. His heart was so big he had such compassion and was very tender hearted and generous. To look at him you might not see that. You would see a quiet guy with the look of peace on his face just about all the time.
Eli loved playing video games, dungeons and dragons, monopoly, and many other games. He was always wanting to get a game of “D and D” on with his crew on discord where he would laugh and talk and role play games often. Eli I believe was the dungeon master on many games and would ask his mom to assist on some of the games. He did have a faithful group of friends that would come once or twice a week for a face to face game when they could, but when they were unable to get together they would gather around the mics via Discord. Eli always enjoyed finding games that he could share with any and all his family members.
Eli was a devout Christian man and would often share the word of God with co-workers and friends. He loved running the sound for Pawnee First Baptist Church where he would run the sound and music for church services Sunday mornings, and VBS for the past several years. He always enjoyed running the sound for VBS where he got to see many kids learning about Jesus.
When Eli was baptized Bro. John was the preacher who baptized him. It is still laughed about how he was so much taller than Brother John but Eli did as he was instructed and made it very ease for Bro John to baptize him. His mom would joke that he didn’t get all wet. He still had a spot that was dry on top of he head!
If there was one thing we could say to our beloved Eli it would be that you are forever in our hearts and…
