Elton J. Moore

Elton Moore, resident of Red Rock, Oklahoma, passed July 24, 2020 in Pawnee, Oklahoma. He was 82 years of age.

Elton was born February 19, 1938 in Red Rock, Oklahoma. He was the son of Johnny Moore, Sr. and Minnie Mae (English) Moore. He attended Red Rock schools and was very active in sports where he later went on to play Minor League Baseball.

Elton was an artist and enjoyed attending pow-wows. He enjoyed last years Otoe Powwow and made every night! He loved to listen to music, draw and watch westerns.

Elton is survived by one brother, Roland Moore of Red Rock and 2 nieces, Laura Hall & her husband Blain and Danielle Pickering. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Johnny Moore Jr., Randall Moore and 2 infant brothers as well as 4 sisters, Loretta Hess, Claudetta Morris, Carmalita Everhart and Lorraine Sigwing.

Graveside Services will be held at Otoe Cemetery at 2:00 with Otoe Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home.

Casket Bearers will be Chantay Sigwing, Graham Primeaux, Jr., Pete Moore, Jr., Bill Bible, Amos Littelcrow and Blain Hall.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be all his nephews, grandsons and the Moore Family!
