Grace Lanette Henry, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 6, 2016, with her family by her side.Lanette was born May 3, 1945, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. She was one of seven children born to Charles George "Bill" and Della (Ridley) Adams. Lanette was raised in the Pawnee, Oklahoma area graduating from Pawnee High School in 1963. She married her high school sweetheart, Raymond Henry, on November 7, 1964. They had two daughters, Sonya and Cindy. They later moved to Enid where Raymond was stationed with the OHP, where they lived for eight years. In 1975, Raymond and Lanette moved back to Morrison where they would reside together until Raymond's death in 2000. Lanette moved to Hominy in 2003, but moved back to Morrison in 2013 where she would remain until she was called Home. Lanette worked as a histologist at the Oklahoma State University Veterinary School. She retired from there after 15 years. After retiring from the veterinary school, Lanette worked part time for the Morrison school system in the cafeteria and as a substitute teacher. She was known for her sewing abilities and cooking for anyone and everyone that came to her house. She was especially partial to feeding the Oklahoma State Troopers and the Noble County deputies that would stop by. Lanette loved to sew, cook, and ride horses.  She also loved to garden and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lanette is survived by her children; Sonya Hartwig and her husband Kyle of Stillwater, OK, Cindy Welch and husband Mark of Morrison, OK, Hannah Welsch and Thorben Bohm of Hamburg, Germany, grandchildren Bailey Shankle and husband Brad of Verdigris, OK, Lane Welch of Morrison, OK and Emily Hartwig of Stillwater, OK, great-granddaughter Raygen Shankle of Verdigris, OK, brothers Bud Adams and wife Phyllis of Altus, OK, Charlie Adams and wife Patty of Woodward, OK, sisters Georganna Childress and husband Bob of Edmond, OK, Sandra Reigles and husband Jon of Boise, ID, and Pinky Adams Hayes of Stillwater, OK, sister-in-law Beverly Willard of Pawnee, OK, many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Lanette was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Henry, parents Bill and Della (Ridley) Adams, twin sister Janette Brown, sister-in-law Sue Adams, and nephew Jonathan Hayes.
