Harrison Otis Fields passed away Sunday, at the Stroud Regional Medical Center he was 76 years old. Harrison was born November 11, 1941 to Arthur and Ahnawake (Buchanan) Fields in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Harrison graduated from Pawnee High School and then went on to Oklahoma State University were he earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Harrison married Nova Marie Moore in Branson, Missouri on December 31, 1990 the couple made their home in Pawnee until Nova passed away November 20, 2017. In Harrison's career he was firefighter in Idaho, served as Superintendent for the Bureau Of Indian Affairs, Grant Writer for the Pawnee Nation, Executive Director of the Pawnee Nation. Harrison leaves to cherish his memories, four children; Raymond Fields, Cheryl Riggs, Wade Fields, and Wanda Grace Fields, four step children; Delilah Moses, Tonetta Ponkilla, Sylvestine Franklin, and Charles Eddy Arkeketa. numerous grand children, great grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Harrison was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nova, brothers, Arthur Fields Jr., Raymond Fields, Richard Fields, and James Fields, sister Eva (Fields) Norwall. Services are Wednesday 10:00 A.M. March 28, 2018 in the Poteet Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clarence Yarholar officiating, burial will follow in the Otoe-Missouri Cemetery in Red Rock, Oklahoma.
