Harvey Luther Mcclendon

Harvey Luther McClendon passed away from this life on November 5, 2015 in Hominy, Ok at the age of 64. Harvey was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Carl Luther and Fairy Jean McClendon on January 7, 1951. They lived in several other towns and eventually made their home in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Harvey was one of fourteen children. September 15, 1971 Harvey married Sherry Mae Richards and had two children Carl and Carla. Harvey also served Honorably in the United States Army in Korea. Harvey was self-employed with a septic tank business for many years as well as odd and end jobs throughout the years. He also helped deliver papers for the Pawnee Chief. He loved "junkin" and making bird houses out of willow. One of Harv's most favorite things to do was spending time with his family. Especially his kids and grandkids. He loved every second he got to spend with him. He was very proud of them and they meant the world to him. Harvey was a very proud father and grandfather.Surviving to his honor is Carl McClendon and his wife Jamie McClendon and their 4 children, Lexea, Camden, Connor and Carcyn McClendon. Also is his daughter Carla and her husband Chris Stogsdill and their four children; Sheldon (Jesse), Preston (Frank), Maeson and Aidon Stogsdill. Harvey also has 4 surviving sisters and 4 surviving brothers; Linda and husband Floyd Bowline , Opal and husband Johnny Ward, Charlotte Sewell, Mary and her husband Amos Stokes, Bill and wife Shirley Bobby and Nelly McClendon, Garland McClendon and Carl Edward (Eddie) McClendon. Harvey also has numerous other relatives.Harvey was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Fairy McClendon, his wife Sherry McClendon, his sister Trudy McClendon and four brothers, Calvin and Charles Riley, Gerald and David McClendon. Riley,
