John Lee Brien

John Lee Brien, beloved husband, dad, and papa of Blackburn, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on January 19th, 2021. John was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma on August 23rd, 1944 to John Robert Brien and Fern Bishop Brien. He attended high school in Fairfax, Oklahoma. John retiree from OG&E in 1994. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, bird watching, singing, playing his guitar, watching football and boxing, and razzing everyone he met. John married the love of his life, Marion Jean Parker, on August 12th, 1961 in Sedan, Kansas. They established their home in Fairfax, Oklahoma then moved to Blackburn, Oklahoma in 1981. John and Marion had 2 children, John Roger Brien and Johna Renee Brien. They were blessed with 2 grandsons, John Tyler Brien and wife Noelle Brien, and Caleb Crenshaw, and his 1 granddaughter Logan Kahrahrah and husband Raymond Kahrahrah. They were then blessed with 4 great grandsons, John Lee, Justin Tyler, Gage Tucker “Orkie”, and Rayden Shunatona “Chief.” John is survived by his wife of 59 1/2 years, his son John Roger, his daughter Johna Renee, adopted son Danny Colvin, his brother Jimmie Brien, his sister Phyllis Wilson, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Terry Robert Brien, and numerous relatives.
