Leo Lynn "Teck" Brien

Leo Lynn “Teck” Brien was born on March 21, 1946 to Jack & Joan (Gilliland) Brien. He passed from this life on January 4, 2023. He was born in Pawnee and raised in the Masham area. He married the love of his life, Diana “Dee” Laughrey on April 7, 1984. They made their home in the Masham area until retiring and moving to live on the golf course in Perkins 2 years ago. Teck enjoyed retirement and spent many days golfing with the Perkins Men’s Golf League. He was known for furnishing the league with his “homemade refreshments”. Before retiring from the State of Oklahoma as a welder, he worked in the oilfield, was an electrician and a barber. He enjoyed traveling with friends, fishing and was known to have an ice chest full of favorite drinks for his grandkids, niece & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack & Joan, brothers Jackie Joe “Skipper” & Gary “Chub” Brien. Teck is survived by his wife, Dee, of the home in Perkins; daughter Misty & Bobby Stossel of Glencoe, and son Stace Brien of Pawnee; grandchildren Garrett Stossel, Callan & Rachel Stossel, Cameron Taylor, Sage Brien and Brody Brien; great grandchildren Elcee & Laramie Stossel. Teck, being a private man, has requested no services be held. His family ask that instead of attending a funeral service you honor him with an act of kindness in his memory.
