Roe Mitchell Toahty passed from this life on December 30, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Roe was a member of the Pawnee Nation and part Kiowa-Creek born in Pawnee, OK on July 1st, 1964. He was the youngest son of Ralph and Juanita Toahty. He attended Del City High School, OK

Roe joined the US Marine and serviced as a member of Military Police. He attended Culinary Arts school in Washington state. He work as a Chef at several renown restaurants in Oklahoma City and Seattle areas.

Roe resided in Happy, TX, and also lived in Midwest City, Del City, OK. and Seattle, Washington. He was very proud of the 2 years of volunteer work he performed following the major Tornado that devasted individuals in Missouri.

Roe attended the Happy Church of Christ, and the Del City Church of Christ. He was an avid fan of the OU sooners. He had a great sense of humor and was a pleasure to be around and he will be deeply missed. He had numerous friends who he kept in touch with through social media and a special friend Cindy.

He leaves behind a loving son, Boe Toahty, and a grandson, Joel. His family includes a brother David and Lisa Toahty of Del City, OK. Sisters Gennie and Kevin Clanin of Guthrie, Terry Jones of Happy, TX. and an uncle Roy Weeks Taylor. His nieces and nephews are Elissa Barnes, Sean Toahty, Christopher Winters, Ralf Toahty, Tobie Toahty, Rebekah Boyd, Shannon Jones, Scott Jones, Shelly Graham, and Shyanne Spivey. Roe is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Juanita Toahty; brothers Joey, Ralph Jr., Gerald and James Toahty and a sister Libbie.
