Therman L. Smith

Therman L. Smith, 86 passed away April 18, 2016 at the Cleveland Manor Nursing Home in Cleveland. Therman was born May 13, 1929 to Paul Albert and Bessie (Snider) Smith in Cleveland, Oklahoma, he was raised in the Pawnee area attending school at Spring Creek and Union Valley schools. Therman married Mary Frances Parks in October 1950 and the happy couple settled in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Therman took a job at the Smith Mobil Gasoline Station in Stillwater working his way up to take the managing position until he retired. Therman liked to collect rocks of all kinds, hunting, and noodling fish. Therman was a loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Therman is survived by one son; Therman L. Smith and wife Darla Jean, five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, three brothers; Jack Smith, George Smith, and Pete Smith. Therman was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of over 60 years Mary Francis Smith, one daughter Patricia Janelle (Smith) Hall and four sisters; Betty, Helen, Margaret, and Mildred, four brothers; Tommy, Raymond, Harold, and Robert. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
