Beyond her career she developed a skill of quilting and created beautiful traditional star blankets in honor of a birth, graduation, marriage or gifts of love to family. If you were fortunate to receive one of her quilts may they warm your body and comfort your soul as you remember the memories she stitched with love for you in mind.
