Auldene Evelyn Gardner

Auldene Evelyn (George) Gardner was born October 31, 1922 in Bluff City, KS., to Iria & Hildur (Wedell) George.  She moved to Osage County, near Ponca City in 1924.  Auldene attended school at Gaylor PaHe and Burbank.
Auldene George married Emmert Gardner on March 4, 1939 in Winfield, KS.  They resided near Ponca City until moving to Skedee, OK in July 1950 where they worked together running the family farm until retirement.  After retirement they moved to Ralston, OK where they resided for several years.  Auldene was active member of the Ralston Bible Church where she was the VBS craft lady for years. Later, they built their home in Pawnee,  OK., where she attended the First Baptist Church.
To this union was born six children:  Almira Clark, Emmert Gardner Jr., Karen Myers, Gerald Gardner, Angelia Novotny & Dena Brown .
Auldene is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Almira and her grand-daughter, Shannon Gardner Renfro.
Auldene  is survived by her 2 sons, 3 daughters, 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren & 9 great-great grandchildren.
In her spare time Auldene enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, gardening, reading, traveling & puzzles. And visits from her grandchildren. Services will be held graveside Wednesday 10:00 A.M. at the Highland Cemetery in Pawnee. Services are under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Pawnee
