Cpl. James M. Walker was born November 29, 1896 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Edwin H. and Della A. Walker. James was one of Ten Children. He passed away on January 1, 1943 in the Cabanatuan Prisoner of War Camp, Philippines. James was a World War! Veteran and then enlisted in World War II at the age of 43 he was captured and taken to the Philippines and passed away due to the horrible conditions in that P.O.W. Camp and was buried there. James is home now to be buried next to his Father and Mother. James was A True Patriot and Hero. We need to remember these soldiers for the Ultimate sacrifice they made for us to live Free. James is survived by a nephew Robert Walker of Liberty, Texas. Full Military services will be held Friday 1:00 P.M. graveside in the Maramec Cemetery in Maramec, Oklahoma next to his Mom and Dad. Services were entrusted to the Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services, friends can leave a comment on the Poteet Website www.poteetfuneralhome.com
