David Roger Pickering

David Roger Pickering Sr., was born on July 22, 1952 in Ponca City, Ok to Harry and Theresa Tohee Pickering. He passed away on January 25th, 2019 at his home in Pawnee Ok. On August 1, 1981, Roger and Suzi Pickering were United in marriage in Pawnee Ok. Roger worked at the Pawnee Nation Housing Authority for 20+ years before his retirement. Roger was a loving Husband and father, he had a very humorous personality and loved watching his grandkids play baseball, softball, basketball, and football. He enjoyed attending games, powwows, and also loved gourd dancing and playing softball. Roger survived by his wife suzi for 37 years and he had 5 daughters, Recia, Alisa, Traci, Kipper, Eliza and also had one son Roger Jr. he also had a brother Bryce Pickering, and his grandkids, Makayla, Makenzi, Makyera, Makalli, Makinli, Shana, Kale, Kenna, Robbie, April, Jordan, Brandon, Bluebird, Kilee, Rodgerick, Rocker, Titan, Trey, Tyson, and Desmond. Great Grandkids, Deakon, Kaylani, Kaydon, Emerson, and Daxson, and he is also survived my numerous relatives whom he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, David and Harry Jr., and 3 sisters, Clarice, Kathy and Burba.
Roger will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
