Harold "Rabbit" Green August 3, 1953 – September 10, 2025

Harold "Rabbit" Green, a proud veteran, devoted father, and cherished member of his community, passed away on September 10, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 72 years old.

Born on August 3, 1953, to Roxie and WoodieGreen Sr., in Pawnee, Oklahoma, Harold was raised with a deep sense of duty, resilience, and love for his family. These values would shape the course of his life, guiding him through a distinguished career in the United States Army, where he served with honor for over two decades. Harold retired from Fort Polk Military Base in Leesville, Louisiana, in 1998, after dedicating many years of his life to the service of his country. He then embarked on a second career with the City of Marshall, Texas, before retiring once again to enjoy his well-earned rest.

Affectionately known as "Rabbit" by his family and friends, Harold’s presence was always warm and his spirit unbreakable. His military service not only demonstrated his patriotism but also his strength, discipline, and commitment to something greater than himself. His legacy of service and love for his country lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Harold is survived by his daughter, Randelyn Green; his son, Lamar Green; and seven grandchildren, along with one great-grandson. He also leaves behind his siblings: Jeanette Green, Leon Green, and Jimmy Green. He is preceded in death by his son Montell Reed, daughter LaKeisha Green, and ten brothers and two sisters.

A graveside service to celebrate Harold’s life and honor his legacy will be held on September 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Highland Cemetery, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. His memory will continue to bring comfort and strength to all who were touched by his life.
