Jerry Poe

Jerry Ray Poe, 68, was called home to Jesus on Tuesday December 26 2023 at home surrounded by his wife and family. He was born September 6 1955 to Steve and JoAnn Poe of Oklahoma City, OK.  Jerry enlisted into the Navy serving until he was honorably discharged. Jerry had the biggest heart in the world and would do anything for anyone. He loved his family dearly, enjoying their company,spending time with friends, and never left tasks undone. He always wanted to work behind the scenes giving his best effort. Jerry was never a stranger and the biggest tease who loved making people laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter Lori, son-in-law Rene,granddaughters Maryssa and Viktoria. He enjoyed fishing, watching his granddaughters activities, playing dominos, watching sports; especially his Oklahoma State Cowboys , bird watching, golfing,doing Civil War reenactment and being ornery at every opportunity. He was preceded in death by his mother JoAnn Poe; Brother Carl Eugene Poe, Edgar Allen Poe, Greg Palmer; sister Betty Jo Poe; both sets of grandparents, great grandparents and two nephews. Jerry was survived by his wife of 33 years Frankie Poe; a daughter Lori Crispin, son- in- law Rene Crispin; granddaughters Maryssa Crispin and Viktoria Crispin; many friends and family.
