Keith Leon Radford, 52, of Pawnee, Oklahoma, passed from this life at his home on Monday, December 7, 2015.

Shorty was born on December 8, 1962, in Yale, Oklahoma. He was the son of Walter William and Frankie Mardell (Hinshaw) Radford. Shorty has resided in Yale, Oilton and Drumright as well as Texas. Following the completion of his education, Shorty began working in the oil field. Following an accident, Shorty began working in the printing business. He has worked at the Cushing Daily Citizen and Bristow newspapers working as an offset print operator. Shorty has resided in Pawnee for the past ten years.

Shorty had many hobbies that included fishing and hunting. He enjoyed spending the majority of his time on the Caney and the Cimarron Rivers fishing. Shorty would line his reels up along the bank and spend many hours and throughout the night fishing. Shorty enjoyed helping others. He would often take people around town or to places they needed to go to help them out. He loved to play the guitar and taught several how to play. Shorty loved being around his family and friends. He really enjoyed drinking coffee. Most of all in life Shorty loved his family and his children immensely.

Survivors are his wife Debbie of the home, two children Steve and Brianna of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Sissy Radford and Deek of Yale, Oklahoma; five siblings Walter Radford of Dallas, Texas, Dianna Ketering and her husband Todd of Mesquite, Texas, Roberta Upshaw and her husband James of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Thurman Radford of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, Effie Baker and her husband Alan of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; five grandchildren Keith and Kylee Flowers, Randy, Hayden and RJ Dallas and numerous other relatives and friends that will mourn his passing. In addition to his parents Shorty was preceded in death by his mother in law Wanda Jean Stokes and a sister in law Rita Carol Cochran.

Chapel services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 12, 2015, at the Poteet Funeral Home Chapel. Following the services the body will be cremated under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
