Marjorie was born in Tracy California to Charles and Elouise Kaul January 30 1932. She was only girl in the family. She had four brothers. Having four brothers she had to be strong and tough. She graduated high school at 17. Shortly after she married the love of her life Ansel Zane Harshbarger. Zane affectionately known in family photos as “Tommy”. Marjorie and Zane had four children and one adopted son. She had numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She made the best oatmeal and snickerdoodle cookies; that tasted as if they came from heaven. That is no exaggeration. They were that good! She also had the best work ethic to be found. Her house was always spotless. She loved mowing grass with a push mower on the hottest days even though she was in her 90’s. Flowers were another love she had. Mother’s Day always involved numerous hanging flowers and plants. She loved it. Marjorie loved bright colors and the fall season. She was always ready for adventure which was a good thing being married to Zane as there was plenty of those. She never was still for long. She always had to be doing something. She loved her children unconditionally accepting of all our quirks. Never one to put on airs she was down to earth. There is so much one can say about her but the word the says it best is wonderful! Life will be less full and not as bright without her. Our world is shattered. Maybe we can pick up some of the pieces but it will never be as bright and full as before. The only comfort we have is knowing she’s with the love of her life and family who will greet her in heaven. She is survived by her children Vicki Jones, Wendi Slone, Toby Harshbarger and Christian Harshbarger. Grandchildren Kerry Canada, Jana Burkart, Robert Jones, Binky Harshbarger, Kristi David and Stephanie Watkins and numerous great grandchildren. She is joined in heaven with Zane and her son Steven along with others. We will miss you!
