Mark Randall Jim

Mark Randall Jim was born on April 17, 1960, to Philmon Jennie Jim in Edmond, OK. April 17, 1960 was Easter Sunday, so he always enjoyed two birthdays. Mark attended elementary school in Edmond and in Pawnee, OK. He attended Jr. High School in Edmond. When he and his mother and little sister moved to Pawnee for good, he chose to attend Indian boarding school instead of public school. He spent his high school years at Intermountain Indian School in Utah, then moved to Oklahoma and attended Sequoyah Indian School in Tahlequah, Ok and he graduated from Fort Sill Indian School in Lawton, OK. Mark went straight to work immediately following high school He went to work for Tandy Leather Company in Edmond. He was a driver to pick up supply goods at the airport, train station and other locations within the Oklahoma City area. He soon became interested in road construction and becoming a heavy equipment operator. Mark attended Central Vo-Tech in Drumright, OK. He earned his heavy equipment certification and CDL and went to work road construction for various companies throughout Oklahoma and Kansas. His specialty was operating the scraper and was an expert at it and was able to cu down to an eight of an inch. He soon married Angela Davis and they had two sons, Matt and Tommy. After more than 40 years of working road construction, his health made him decide to retire from the work he loved. He became affiliated with the Commemorative Air Force Jayhawk Wing in Wichita, KS. He enjoyed flying and attending air shows all over the United States. Mark made friends wherever he went. He had the personality that drew people to him. He has many lifelong friends from elementary school to his retirement years from all over the world.

Mark leaves behind, his sons, Gregg Matthew Jim, of Denton, Texas, John Thomas Jim, of Norman, OK, and one grandson, Solomon Hakeem Jim of Norman, OK., his little sister, Suzanne Jim Kanuho and husband David, of Pawnee, OK., nieces, Jada Jimboy, Jennae Kanuho, of Pawnee, OK, Hannah Irving and husband David K. of Edmond, OK, nephews, Jack Jim, of Stillwater, OK, Jordan Kanuho, of Tulsa, OK, Jarred Kanuho and Brandon Kanuho, of Pawnee, OK, grandchildren, Tyler Jim, of Skiatook, OK, Jackson Jim and Legend Jim, both of Tulsa, OK, Olivia Jimboy, Kyle Jimboy, Caleb Jimboy, Madison Jimboy, Charlotte Jimboy,, Myra Kanuho and Clifford Kanuho, all of Pawnee, OK, Avery Irving, David M. Irving, and Carter Irving of Edmond, OK.

Mark is predeceased by his Momma, Jennie Jim, his grandparents, Ella Pratt Jim and Phillip Jim, Aunt Jennie Jo Jim, Uncles Clifford Jim and Franklin Jim, brothers and sister, Gareth Jim, Larry Jim and LynnEtta Jim Mills and husband Michael Mills.
