Michael Lee Flowers “Mike”, 71 of Glencoe Oklahoma, passed away in his home on January 21st 2026. Mike was born on August 26th 1954 in Virginia to Floyd and Ruby Flowers. Mike is the oldest of 6 children, they were a military family so they moved around quite often. Mike had a very strong work ethic he learned from his parents. When he was just 8 years old he was chasing golf balls so he could turn around and sell them.
Military was quite important to Mike, so shortly after graduating from Glencoe High School he enlisted in the Army National Guard where he served 21 years. Mike also worked for Oklahoma State University where he retired after 28 years of service. Mike also owned a cleaning company where he worked for the Presbyterian Church in Stillwater Ok for nearly 28 years. Mike had a deep love for baseball, basketball, really any sport in general, he loved the Cowboys. However, most of all he loved watching his children & grandchild play sports. He was front row and center, sometimes late but he was always there.
