Paula Lea Butler, passed away on April 26, 2026 at 10:47 p.m. at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa OK
She was born September 7, 1968, in Pawnee , Oklahoma to Lucille Tohee-Jeans- Lewis “Gooch” Jeans
Paula will be remembered for her strength, her deep love for her family and the way she carried herself through life. She held close the importance of family, community, and tradition. She was a current employee of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe of Indians where she dedicated 31 years. She loved gourd dancing and was active in the Native American Church. She enjoyed traveling, collecting rocks, and making fry bread for those she loved. Her grandchildren were especially dear to her and brought her great joy. She loved traveling with husband on their motorcycle. She also loved her favorite team OSU.
She is survived by her husband, Chad Butler; her Children Tashina & David Quintero, Sheyenne Butler, and Kennetha Butler & Gabe Rhodd ; and her grandchildren Cashlyn Shaw, Christian Avery , Daniel-Mooney and Desmond- Peanut, Kaia Sofia and The Jeans Crew & The Jeans Squad and many other Grandchildren
And her sisters Lynn Jeans & Dawn Harrison of the Country Side, Lisa Grant of Ohio, adopted brother Chad Carney and many other sisters and brothers and nieces and nephews
Uncle Wilfred and Hannah Jeans and Cheryl Barnes of Arizona, Aunt Libby Buffalohead of Ponca City
Paula is proceeded in death by parents Martha and Lewis Jeans, Sister’s April Tiger Jeans , Felicia Tohee. Brothers John Jeans, Sam Harrison, Leon Tohee, Sonny Graves. She was the Granddaughter of Dorcas Basset and William Tohee. Sam and Margaret Bassett. Paternal Grandparents of Olynthia Pipestem and Rufus jeans. Frank Pipestem and Lula Pettit. Granddaughters Audy Lucille & Illyihana Jeans & Nephew Moses Scott Niece ShayShay
She was the Descendant of Missouri Chief and John Pipestem.
