SONNY HOWARD GRAVES January 20, 1992 to July 10, 2025 Beloved son, father, brother, friend, Sonny Howard Graves, 33 yearss old, proud member of the Osage Nation and of the Eagle Clan, gained his wings on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Sonny was a descendant of the Otoe-Missouria, Ioway, and Pawnee Nations. Sonny was skilled in culinary arts, he enjoyed cooking for family and friends for all occasions. Because of Sonny’s interest in hairstyling, he attended Barber College in Oklahoma City. Sonny enjoyed cutting and styling everyone’s hair when requested. Sonny enjoyed dancing with his Osage people during the In’lonschka ceremonies as a straight dancer. As a member of the Otoe-Missouria Eloska Society, Sonny enjoyed singing and dancing with his Otoe-Missouria people. Sonny’s hobbies included straight dancing at powwows, fishing, listening to music, playing frisbee and most outdoor activities. Sonny was born on January 20, 1992 to Billie Ann Tohee and Simon Francis Graves in Taos, New Mexico. Sonny’s daughter Naomi Danielle Graves, 17 years old, was the love of his life. Sonny is survived by his mother Billie Tohee, father Simon Graves, older brother Jamison Concha and sister in law Asa Concha and aunts Jo and Vickie Graves . Sonny was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Anna Kihega Tohee and William Tohee, Sr. paternal grandparents Mary Agnes (Holloway) and Howard Francis “Sonny” Graves, older brother William Joseph “Billy Joe” Concha, uncles Larry and Gary Graves, Bill Tohee, Jr., Sylvester Alley and sister Donna Barrone. Sonny loved all of his relatives dearly, and really enjoyed all of the memories that he made with friends and family, as he shared those memories very fondly. The family is very thankful for all of the support and words of comfort and encouragement received over the days leading up to his celebration of life. The Tohee and Graves family extends the greatest heartfelt thank you to all who thought of Sonny and his family in this time.
