Stan W. Spears, 63, passed from this life on September 23, 2019, in Cushing, Ok. He was born on April 6, 1956 in Pawnee, Oklahoma Stan was the son of Wesley and Eno (Beaver) Spears.
On March 21, 1975, Stan was united in marriage with Cheryl (Holder) Spears. The couple resides in Cushing and had one son, Stan Robert (Bobby) Spears.
Stan worked for the City of Cushing for 20 years before retiring. After retirement from the City of Cushing, he began working for basic for a little over a year. In 2013 to September 2019, Stan worked for himself as a mechanic.
Stan enjoyed hunting with his son, Bobby, and his grandson, Jacob. He loved taking his granddaughter, Brooklynn, out to feed apples to her horse, Sparkles. He not only loved his family, but he also loved his pets.
Stan is survived by his wife, Cheryl Spears, of the home, son Stan(Bobby) Spears and wife Danea, grandson Jacob (15), granddaughter Brooklynn (5), brother Steve Spears, sister Jennifer Aldrich, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Stan is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Eno Spears, and paternal and maternal grandparents.
A graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Ok, on Friday September 27, 2019 at 10 am. Visitation will be Thursday September 26, 2019 at Poteet Funeral Home in Pawnee, Ok with the family present from 5-7pm.
