Terry Glasby of Pawnee, at the age of 67, has went home to his Lord and Savior on June 28, 2026. He was born in Yale Oklahoma on September 22, 1958, to Wilber Paul and Elizabeth (McCartney) Glasby of Quay, Oklahoma. Terry attended Quay school as a boy until 1968 when the school shut down and then attended Yale schools until he graduated in 1977. Terry also obtained an associates degree for welding at Central Technology Center in 1978. Terry married in 1979 and had one daughter Victoria Louise on 1983; but divorced in 1985. In June of 1991, Terry met the love of his life, Ronda Gostnell Glasby. This union gave Terry an instant son and daughter, Michael Anthony Gostnell and Roshae Elizabeth Matlock. In July of 1991, Ronda and Michael left for the road with him and have been with him ever since. In 1993, Terry and Ronda had son Victor Allen Glasby; and in 1994, Lindsey Dawn Glasby was born. Terry worked many jobs in his younger years. He worked with his brothers on the railroad, worked with Wayne Cook of Pawnee, as well as in the oilfields. His job with Skinner Tank in 1991 required travelling which eventually made it hard to raise a family, so he decided to come home in 1996 to raise his children while working as a self-employed carpenter. When the two youngest children became teenagers he returned to Skinner Tank (2009) and worked as a forman erecting storage tanks. Terry loved Skinner Tank dearly and he cared for and thought of his crew as family, no matter the cost to him. He was a dedicated 35+ year veteran of the company and he truly loved everyone there. He appreciated Skinner Tank, not only for allowing him to provide for his family, but also for all the sites and attractions he as able to see along the way. Terry loved and cherished his family with all his heart, and his greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews. Terry was proceeded in death by his parents (Wick and Betty); along with four brothers, Kenneth, Paul, Wilber, and George; and his sister Wanda Wikel. Terry is survived by his wife Ronda Gostnell Glasby, sons Michael Gostnell and Victor Glasby, and daughters Lindsey Glasby, Victoria Nugent, and Roshae Matlock. Terry is also survived by his eight grandchildren Kasey Gostnell, Maddex and Marlow Glasby, Winsten Glasby, Tobias and Archer Flavell, Haley and Haden Nugent, and another little Glasby on the way. Terry is survived by his siblings David and his wife Jeannine of Colorado, Phillip and his wife Jackie of Quay, Louise Hatchett of Illinois, Elizabeth McKinney of Yale, Claudia and Husband Darrell of Yale, Sharon and husband Gregg of Florida; and many many nieces and nephews. Terry Glasby will always be remembered as a great, hardworking, and dedicated man. He was a loving husband and an excellent father, son, uncle, brother, and friend. He was a fighter and a provider until the end, and he will remain a hero to those who knew him closest, forever.
