Thomasine Pratt Neff, age 69 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday afternoon October 2, 2022 after a long hard battle with cancer.
Thomasine was born to Adam E. and Lula Nora (Tildan) Pratt on June 24, 1953 in Pawnee, Oklahoma where she joined five brothers and six sisters. She attended Pawnee Public Schools and graduated in 1971. She later attended Meridian Technology Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma and graduated with her Licensed Practical Nursing in 1990. She enjoyed working at Fairfax Manor, Fairfax Hospital and Pawnee I.H.S. where she retired after 25 years of service.
She married George Franklyn Neff on October 3, 1978 and they made their home in Fairfax for 44 years. Thomasine loved to cook for the Pawnee Veterans and several other various organizations, going to Pow-Wows , June In- Lon- Shka where she loved to watch her husband, children, and grandchildren dance. She enjoyed golfing and going on trips with her friends, sewing was one of her great passions. She sewed dance shirts and other clothing for her family that they proudly wore. She followed all of her kids and grand kids sporting events all over the country. Her greatest title was “Muffin”
She is survived by her husband George of the home, sons; John Neff and wife Claudia of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Franklyn Neff of Fairfax, Oklahoma, Ashley Pratt of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Jason Neff and wife Angie of Fairfax, Oklahoma, six grandchildren; Brittany, Laramie, Kylee, Madison, Tryp and Maddyx, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and numerous other family and friends.
Thomasine will lie in state at Grayhorse Chapel in Fairfax, Oklahoma. Services will be held at the Woodland High School Auditorium in Fairfax, Oklahoma 10:00 A.M. Wednesday October 5, 2022 with Rev. Russel Hughes and Rev. Duane Pratt officiating, burial will follow in the Fairfax City Cemetery with a feast to follow in the Grayhorse Community Building.
