Tommie Jean Cherb, 67, passed away January 11, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tommie was born April 11, 1951 to Anna Ravis in Pawnee, Oklahoma. She was later adopted by Rex and Lena (Jackie) Lane of Ralston, Oklahoma. Tommie was a proud member of the Pawnee Nation. She made her home in Lone Chimney, Oklahoma and was known for her strength, wit, charm, and generosity with those in need. Her laugh was beautifully contagious and her smile lit up the world of those who loved her. Her favorite pastime was spending time with those who loved her especially her long time companion Sam Tucker. She loved sitting on Sam’s front porch, drinking coffee and taking in the view with the cat and dog.
Tommie was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Fred Cherb.
Tommie is survived by two Daughters, Lyn Roberts and husband David of Sunset, Texas, and Brenna Hutcheson and husband Larry of Fairfax, Oklahoma. Five grandchildren, Hayden Roberts of Midland, Texas, Jared Roberts of Wichita Falls, Texas, Austin Jones of Hominy Oklahoma, and Ashlee Jones of Fairfax, Oklahoma and Owen Hutcheson of Fairfax, Oklahoma. Four sisters Sheryal Reamy of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Karen Evans of Clayton, Georgia, Sue Reed of Sulpher, Oklahoma, and Beverly Nuttle of Norman Oklahoma. Two brothers; Jimmy Horn of Norman, Oklahoma and Bobby Horn of Pawnee, Oklahoma.
